Aida M. Lloyd

Ms. Lloyd the founder and President of AM Insurance Services, Inc., a South Florida insurance brokerage firm that specializes in group health, individual health, online health insurance quotes and employee benefit programs.  Ms. Lloyd has over 40 years of experience in the industry and has developed a reputation as a premiere source for health insurance an employee benefits.  She is fully licensed in Health, Life, Annuities, and has a Series 6 securities license.

As the President of the firm, Ms. Lloyd utilizes her exceptional industry experience to run the day-to-day operations of AM Insurance Services and manage its partners and brokers. Ms. Lloyd began her career in the health insurance industry in 1969 working for Liberty Mutual as clerical assistant. The daughter of Cuban immigrants, Ms. Lloyd was determined to develop the knowledge and experience she needed to pursue her dream and open her own insurance brokerage. In 1981, she began working New York Life and after spending several years as a hardworking and results oriented agent, Ms. Lloyd ventured on her own and eventually opened her own insurance brokerage.

Ms. Lloyd, a respected member of the insurance industry, sits on the Agent Advisory Committees for AvMed and United Health Care.  She is also a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) of The American College and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. The LUTCF designation is an advanced degree in life insurance products and marketing that combines essential product knowledge with basic planning concepts to help insurance professionals boost their production.

Naida M. Torres

Ms. Torres is a partner at AM Insurance Services and is a fully licensed health, life, disability and variable annuities agent from the Florida Department of Insurance.  Ms. Torres also holds a Series 6 securities license so that she can provide her clients with various investment opportunities available through innovative health insurance products.  Ms. Torres’ client base includes large corporations, small businesses and professionals.  As a Partner, Ms. Torres develops and implements long-term strategies that ensure the well being and financial security of the firm’s clients.

Through her leadership, the firm has seen tremendous growth.  Much of this is attributed to her keen understanding of business development and the power of networking.  Ms. Torres, along with her partners and staff, follows a detailed marketing and public relations plan that focuses on personal relationship building through traditional as well as social online networking.

Ms. Torres is also active in various community organizations.  She is a Past Member of the Board of Directors and a Trustee Member of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and is the Past Chair of the 20/30 Group, a committee for the Chamber’s young professionals.  She is also a Past Member of the Board of Directors and the Treasurer of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Miami-Dade; and is a Past President of Business Networking International’s (BNI) Coral Gables Chapter, and a member of the Miami-Dade Association of Health Underwriters.  Ms. Torres, who is known for her active participation in business and networking groups, was recognized as a 2009 “Mover & Shaker” by Business Leader Media.

Ms. Torres frequently participates in continuing education courses and training seminars relevant to the services she provides.  She received her B.A. in Elementary Education in 2000 from Florida International University.

Claudine M. Nelson

Ms. Nelson is a fully licensed health insurance broker and partner at AM Insurance Services, Inc.  Ms. Nelson has over nine years of experience in the industry and has wide range of insurance product knowledge and expertise in client-centered services.  Prior to joining AM Insurance Services in 2005, Ms. Nelson spent five years as a licensed property and casualty agent with a national insurance company.  She is fully licensed in Life, Health & Variable Annuities. AM Insurance Services is a South Florida insurance brokerage firm that specializes in group health, individual health, online health insurance quotes and employee benefit programs. The firm also provides additional ancillary products, such as life, disability, long term care, critical illness, dental & vision coverage.

Ms. Nelson is a member and former Vice President of the Business Networking International Dadeland Chapter.  Ms. Nelson obtained her B.A in Criminal Justice in 2000 from Florida International University.  She currently resides in Kendall, Florida with her husband and two children.
